It is not to short when trying to experience all possible paths. It is exciting to figure out what would happen in case of a different action.

Good adaption of the old RPG-books. I especially like how the parts of the text are coming together and the fighting is also quite good adapted. I do not like the magic too much as there are too many spells in the book and its not not clear whether you could use a specific spell in a certain situation.

Ill admit that the first game feels pretty short if you only play through once. But its part of a larger story, and every decision influences the next. Im a little ways into Sorcery 3 and still feeling the consequences of decisions I made in the first game. Its absolutely brilliant and I cant wait for the fourth entry!

Ive only just started playing this on my iPad Mini 2, but Im having a problem. When Im trying to fight the slider wont register so Im constantly stuck in defence position. Sometimes itll glitch and jump about so Im either attacking with a lot of strength or very little - Im never in control. Im giving it three stars right now because so far the game looks beautiful and Im excited to progress, Im just unable to. I hope youll be able to fix this!

Good, but way too short for that price

For those complaining about how your "wasted" five bucks on something that only lasts a couple of hours, I would suggest that you should also avoid going to the movies. Movie tickets cost more then $5, you will only get a couple of hours of story and whats worse you cant control what the actors do on screen. Honestly I wish there where more good short games. I enjoy playing epic RPGs like final fantasy, but Im getting tired of needing to dedicate 40+ hours just to see how the story ends. Sorcery is a fun quick game where every time you play its different depending on the choices you make.

Its an okay game for an hour. It does not last long, and is not worth the money.

Great game, and tons of replay value

This is mobile gaming and storytelling at its finest. The telltale games (the other standard) require full attention, in Sorcery, everything is turn based and can be rewound if needed. Fantastic story.

I didnt have any expectations about this game, but I enjoyed playing through it a few times. The combat is easy to learn and you can retry battles if you do poorly and get yourself killed. Its more choose your own adventure style than open world choice. If you like that style of game then you will enjoy this game as it is done in a great visual way with a backtracking choice for those who mind dying from a mistake. However, with this game there is no going backwards to revisit things, if say you want to back and revisit a store after leaving it, for example. Its not long if you choose to push through the optimal route, but there are plenty of spells and story choices to try. It took a couple of tries for me to get to the end and I thought this story was well thought out and fun to play.

I dont know what I expected, but this game certainly didnt meet my expectations. It was a little boring. Just not my cup of tea, I guess. A lot pf reading, rewinding on bad decisions, and the "battles" were not exciting at all. This is just my humble opinion, though. Other people seem perfectly content with this game!

This game is the best! A very well made app with tons of replay value!

I really actually liked the game quite a lot, but I was pretty miffed when I got to the end and it asked me to buy part 2 for another $4.99. This game didnt even take me a full hour to complete, its a complete rip off for the price that it costs.

I admit the issues with pricing and length can be understood but is understandable when you realize how every little detail is connected in this game nothing interferes or glitches with another item and the replay value is tremendous all in all I would buy it again

I really love adventure games. Especially this kind of well done ones!! And giving player the ability to "rewind" every move instantly is just sweet. Much easier to make short term decisions, brilliant design. You dont need to worry about "save/load" at all. Just enjoy the game and the choice from your guts.

I didnt know what to expect when i bought it, mainly drawn in by the artwork. Started playing it and was quickly addicted. Playing it again because i feel like i missed a lot of stuff, and purchased the next 3. Good stuff! Buy it!

VERY short, nothing to brag about.

interesting game play but really boring and short too. Terrible combat and rewinding makes it just about completely pointless. Again, wow.
